We got 1st place for the Flame Challenge! It was unbelievable, i still could not believe it. Johanan and I were in a team. We got to cook chicken and we came out with something new called "The Char-Siew Chicken with Limchi sauce". Limchi sauce is a combination between lemon and chillies. We even had avocado to use. At first blur, but then idea's came. Praise God! We WON!

Action Packed Weekend!

Every weekend there is something great happening here on Volgo, maybe its just especially for me.
This Saturday, we are having Arise and Build program called Flame Challenge.
We are gonna COOK!!!!!!!!
Love the way this competition is gonna be.
And on Sunday another project called Davai Shaurster is gonna be launched. We are selling Saurma and Twister together with a fusion called Shaurster!
Hope so next Sunday I can have a typical students Sunday...

Its not easy to say NO! But by saying YES all the time, people tend to use you, then misuse you, abuse you and at last back stab you!
Life is good when others get everything from you, but life is BAD when you dry yourself up and just dont get anything out of it!

The day started with pure boredom and fear. Its was Russian class to begin with. 4 hours continuous class.
After that it is the killer subject for me. BIOCHEMISTRY!
Dont know much about the subject, cause I really dont like the subject.
Slept for 4 hours earlier at night, then continuously studied from 12.30am to 7am!
Wow, it paid off tough. Now feeling relived.

Astrakhan's Mission Trip 2010

On the 6th March (Saturday), we were scheduled to embark for Astrakhan on a Mission trip. The local church here (Jesus Embassy, Volgograd) sent 2 teams for missions. One team to Astrakhan and the other to Akhtubinsks. Each team had 17 members. Astrakhan was a 6 hours journey from Volgograd by marshutka (a van). We left Volgograd at about 4pm after being led prayer by Bro. Akin.

We reached Astrakhan at about 11pm. As soon as we reached in Astrakhan, we were assembled at Astrakhan's local church. We were then allocated places to the local church member's house to spend the night. I stayed in a Russian house with 2 of my other friends Eccleston Kendrick (Clez) and Sarbdev Singh (Dev). We were glad because it was our first experience staying in a Russian house and to eat their food. After being served dinner, we ate and slept.
The next morning, we got up at about 6.45am. After the wonderful breakfast we had with our "foster family" in Astrakhan we left to church. As soon as we reached the church, we prepared ourselves for the church service, because the local church gave us the honor to lead the whole service from the worship to the sharing, praying, drama, offering, testimony and benediction. We felt so honored in the church. And I must confess that it was so amazing to praise and worship our Father in a new language. We all felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in the church.
After their normal worship service, they have a special service for the deaf and dumb. I personally have never seen such thing in my life before. It was so touching to see how these people worship our God without words but only with thier actions. Although they lack the gift of speech, they still retained a heart to search for God. They welcomed us to perform our drama to them too. I felt so grateful to God that I can speak and listen, and I do not want to waste it but to use it for God.
After the service, we went fora short tour to the Kremlin (a fortress) . Astrakhan is such a beautiful city with its Kremlin and many other wonderful buildings.
At about 5pm, we were scheduled to have a "Youth Meeting", locally in our church we say it was "MYF program". Due to that, we distributed pamphlets about this programs to the youths in Astrakhan. Therefore, we choose to invite the youth from 2 universities in Astrakhan, the Medical University and Polytechnic, for our program. With my very new and fragile knowledge of the Russian language, I went and spoke with the students there and invited them for our program. It was really interesting though.
We reached at 5pm in the church. The program began with praise and worship. After that was games. Clez and I were in charge of it. It was a new experience to conduct a game in the Russian language and interact with a new circle of people. We were asked to perform the drama again and after that ws the session for sharing of testimonies. After that, it was the sharing session b Ng Xun Jin, and the session was inspiring.
After everything, we were exhausted but extreemly satisfied. We left Astrakhan at about 11pm and reached Volgograd at about 7am.
Mission trips are truly amazing, great, wonderful....... and so on.It was basically a one day mission trip, but we did so many things. Here were those who attended the mission trip and some of the pictures we took there. We are so thankful to all those for have been praying for us. Winter Conference 2010

There are so many wonderful things to tell about this conference, and I really do not know how and where to begin from.

For it had been since a long time my seniors had been encouraging me to come for the Winter Conference that would be held for the very first time in a very big scale as there will be 5 main universities in Russia will be participating. I also was so interested, but at the same time, if I
was to go for the conference, I would not be able to "enjoy" my 3 days semester break. But I decided to go too. My exam finished on the 4th February and I had to travel to Moscow on the 4th February itself. Immediately after my exam, we had to go to the railway station to catch our 20 hours train to Moscow. The conference begins on the 5th February and we had to travel for such a long time to get to Moscow.
We had a wonderful time in Moscow. There were many wonderful programs arranged for us and from wonderful speakers like

'Street Temple' Hip-Hop GroupThe theme for this conference was "CHANGE BEGINS WITH ME".
The 1st session was conducted by Pastor Kevin Loo. Pastor Kevin Loo imparted words of wisdom and encouragement with a powerful sermon noting how important change can be and that the word of God triggers change to empower us to not only become normal doctors but spiritual doctors that not only bring the medicine but also hope to the downcasted and the broken hearted. We as doctors merely provide the medicine but it is only God that provides the cure.

The second day of the Winter Conference 2010 was a long session that included the message that blew my mind by Rev. Matts Ola, a highly revered and respected pastor that commands a large following of Russian Christians in Moscow. His church popularly goes by the Russian name of Слова жизни (Slava Zhizny) which means Word of Life. His sermon on merciful really touched my heart. I really learn t a lot especially from this session.

There was also a talk conducted by Dr Shan Ong himself who is one of the top pediatricians specializing in child development in Sydney, Australia. He was there to talk about highly acquired medical skills and advice to us aspiring doctors. Last but not least, Dalvinder Singh who is the founding director of the Moscow Malaysian Fellowship and also in his final year also imparted much wisdom to us as he delivered tips on leadership skills and people management. Dalvinder also was part of a relieve team that was sent to Haiti. Looking at his vision to change our way of looking at things really was amazing.

The highlight of the event was Ms Jaclyn Victor herself. The first ever Malaysian Idol winner. Her voice is so wonderful. The last song she sang on Sunday was so superb.

Moreover, the all girl band "Free to Fall" was also there. Other groups were also present to showcase their talent and to entertain the night, "Street Temple" a hip hop dance group by a group of four Russians and "Saved" a pop dance team were there to wowed us with their impeccable dance choreography.

The last day of the conference took place at the Word of Life Church. Pastor Matts Ola led the final session. In total there were 5 sessions. Jaclyn Victor took the stage once more and delivered yet another trademark stunning performance. After the worship, song performance we had to leave the church because we had to catch our flight.

Although we were tired, but it was chance that I believe none of us want to miss. Im glad that I attended the conference because I learnt a lot of new things. The most wonderful thing was that each and every arrangement done was done by medical students who should be one of the most busiest students. I was truly amazed by the Malaysian Fellowship hospitality and professionalism of doing this. May God Bless You!

The snow is here!

Finally after much of anticipation, the snow is here. It was rather late this year for the snow to fall. I really enjoyed myself playing in the snow just now (12 December 2009). It was really cool. I behaved like a kid, throwing snow at my friends and running here and there for fun. I felt that I was 10 years younger just now. Had so much of fun. Here are some pictures....

Today was the first day that I began my actual first year course classes. For the past 2 months, I was going through the intensive period. During the intensive period, we only had Russian and Chemistry classes. We had 5 hours and 50 minutes of Russian classes almost everyday except for Sunday. In my old timetable, the only thing that you can see repeatedly is Russian, Russian, Russian and a little of Chemistry and that’s it.

In our new timetable, there are several new subjects introduced. The new subjects are Physics, Informatics, Biology, Latin, Physical Training, History and Anatomy. Among the new subjects introduced the subject that it new for me is Latin, Anatomy and Informatics. Life is going to become more hectic as I have to travel further for classes.

Previously, I only need to travel from my hostel (Hiroshima) and to Kim’s Hostel for Russian classes and to University for Chemistry. Now I have to travel to the Morphological building, to Kim’s Hostel, University and to the Informatics Building. Therefore, now I have a little feeling that I am a student.

The blog title has surely described what I am going to blog about.
Yes, winter is about to come and this is my first time experience. Really cant wait for it because its something cool and interesting. But sometimes it might be troublesome too. Im trying to look at things in a more positive way, therefore I am going to enjoy this years winter. Last year, the temperature went down as low as -23 degrees. The weather here fluctuates very soon. Suddenly its sunny and when its windy, its extremely cold. From the news reports that I get through the internet, it says that on Monday (2/11/2009) there will be slight snowing.

I was waiting eagerly for this program since I came to Volgograd, Russian one month ago. Every night in our prayer fellowship, we were earnestly praying for this program. This program’s motive was actually to make new friends and to know your friends deeper that you have already made. We wanted the participants to get acquainted with the Russian and other nationalities. By God’s grace, the program turned out to be a wonderful success. Many students who came had a lot of fun and made a lot of new friends. There were many prizes that were won by the students. One of my friends won an ipod shuffle by just sending a text message. I won a t-shirt which I really wanted. Finally was the dinner fellowship. We had spaghetti and it was one of the best that I have ever tasted. Everything was really GEMPAK!!!!!!

I really thank God for sending me to Volgograd, Russia because this place really rocks.

Autumn in Russia......

This is the first time in my life experiencing autumn. It is really great, and the weather here is really unpredictable. Yesterday it might have been really warm then, today it would be really cold that the temperature might be as low as 5 or 6 degree Celsius and tomorrow might be warm again. But I think that I have already adapted myself here. Today (Sunday, October 25, 2009) it was announced that the time will change. I really don’t know how to make you guys to understand this. For example, If the time now is 6pm, it will be 5pm from October 25, 2009. So that means, that the difference of time between Malaysia and Volgograd will not be 4hours back, but 5 hours back due to the season change. The day they announced this, that evening at 5pm itself it was already dark as if it was 8pm at night. The weather is changing and winter is coming soon. I’m so excited for winter to come.

1. Pray for God’s special direction and leading for the organizing team.

2. Pray for oneness of heart and mind as we plan for this special program.

3. Pray that we will find favor in the eyes of government officials in order to obtain permits and necessary approvals.

4. Pray for good weather on the day of the event.

5. Pray for each item that will be presented. Pray that the people will be reached by the message of Christmas

6. Pray that God will grant good health for those who are presenting items so that they will be inspired to give their utmost best for the Lord on this day.

7. Pray for the Master of Ceremony (Rev. Herbert John). Pray for God’s divine inspiration to guide him to emcee this program.

8. Pray for a large number of non-Christians to attend this program. Pray that the Holy Sprit will touch and minister to them in a very special way.

9. Pray for the ushering team - that the presence of God will use them to minister to those who come.

10. Pray for the stage arrangements and the backdrop – the appearance itself would draw the attention of the people.

11. Pray for the PA system, lighting system, music instruments and every electrical and mechanical equipments used for the event – pray against any fault and disruption of service.

12. Pray for the Music Band – that the anointing of the Lord will rest upon them as they prepare and perform on this event.

13. Pray for the party packs and salvation packs that will be distributed – pray that the tracts and the CD’s will minister to them.

14. Pray for sufficient food packs that will be distributed on the day.

There will be a grand Christmas celebration that will be on the 20/12/2009 (Sunday) in the IRC Field. The theme for this year's Christmas Rally is JESUS MY HOPE! Our main aim is to tell what Christmas is all about and to reach the non-believers (To send the message of Salvation). The Program include carol singing, songs, dance, drama, children items and many more. The committee has already gathered and started planning. So all those who read this blog post please continue to pray for this event and you are most welcomed to join and celebrate the birth of Christ.

God is great!
Im really glad that God has brought me to Volgograd Russia to study medicine. Im really enjoying my life here. The most best part of being a student here is that you become more closer to God. What I meant was that, every night at 10pm a small group of students come together and pray. Kelvin Yii our Boss, will lead us in prayer and give us some new information on what is going around us.
There was one student name Hansley, who came with us who was doing Pre- Medicine was diagnosed with influenza AH1N1. He was suspected of having the flu and was hospitalized for about 1 week. He could not attend classes and not only that, all his classmates were also quarantined for a short period of time too. Every night as we pray together, Kelvin gives new updates about Hansley. We prayed without fail every night for him. Yesterday (5/10/2009), Kelvin said that he was confirmed of influenza AH1N1. But we still prayed without fail that night.
The next day (6/10/2009), Kelvin went to the hospital to visit him and to his surpise the doctors told him that they misdiagnosed Hansley for influenza AH1N1. Its actually virus H1 and nothing serious.
God is great. Im sure that it was not a misdiagnosis as God has really healed him.
God has been really doing many things here in Volgograd, Russia.

New groups......

Before we enter into our university in Russia, we had to sit for an entrance exam in order to be separated into groups. English exam passed. A very simple exam. 10 objective questions on grammar and 1 text question where we have to give summary to the lecturer personally. It was fun doing that where I was crapping all the way through about what I know. The next day(yesterday) was our Chemistry exam. It was turf but we managed to do it. Today will be Biology, but guess what we have already got our groups. Usually in a group there will be 8 students. The group that I was in consists of all my friends. I was really happy. All my room mates are in one group and some of my other friends are in my group too. Really thank God for giving me such a good group.

GEMPAK experiece....

We discovered many new things as we travel around. Each and everyday is a new experience. One of the most GEMPAK experience that we as a group of friends in Russia underwent was buying our winter boots. It was like a pasar malam kind of shop near my hostel. So we saw the boots and it looked appealing. We decided to stop and ask for the price. 'Skolka stoi eta', means how much is this in Russian language and he said 250 roubles (RM25). We were surprised to hear the price as most of our seniors said that we can only get it for about 1000 roubles or more. We immediately decided to buy it. I could not get a right size for me as the shoes that the shop keeper had were all too big in size. Suffian and Syamil, decided to buy and the got the right size for them. Suffiamn wanted to pay immediately, but I stopped him as I wanted to bargain the price. I do not know much Russian nor my friends are that good too, but we managed to reduce the price to 200 roubles each. I told him 400 for 2 shoes and we were talking ROJAK RUSSIAN-ENGLISH-MALAY to him and he managed to understand and I told him that we were students for Malaysia and finally he agreed. It was amazing how we could blend our linguistic skills and bargain stuffs. Now the shopkeeper is one of my first Russian friend.

Life in Russia.....

After a long time doing nothing now my future planning begins. Now Im in Volgograd, Russia. Will be here for the next 6 years. Let me be brief. Life here is cool. The temperature here is getting cooler. We have to cook to survive, but our seniors are so good that they always cook us. Hope so today I will cook with all my friends. Lectures, begin 2nd October. Tomorrow entrance exam. Wonderful seniors. Really cool, best word to describe them is GEMPAK!!!!!!!

We really have a cool Christian Fellowship here. Every night at 10pm we gather in a room and have a small praise and worship session and pray for our studies. Went to church yesterday, really nice worship service.

A short testimony.

I really needed some clothes hanger because I did not bring enough from Malaysia. Then at 10.30am Sunday we had Mega Sales of winter clothing, but I had to go to church at the same time. I had to choose between of going to church or Mega Sale. I choose to go to church. During the service, the message was about, God knows what you want even before you ask it. After that I went back to my room and then went back to the same church for an orientation program. They had a small quiz sessions after some information given to us, and I answered a question. They gave me a small gift for that, and I was shocked to receive 4 clothe hanger. I realize that how true God is to us and the sermon that I listen came to life. I made a choice between God and Mega Sale. And God really showed his greatness on me.Praise Be All To God Alone!

Superb day......

On the 21st September, was the day that I really could not forget. That was the last day in 2009 where me and my friends met. We usually have a simple schedule, which is to go out and watch a movie, then we will go for bowling later we will be going to the cyber cafe to play Counter Strike (our favorite game). This time we went for a new Tamil movie; Unnai pol Oruvan. It was one of the best Tamil movie that I have ever watched. Then we went for bowling. This is the first time that so many of us played at once. 12 of us played bowling that day.
Then we played CS.....
After that was one of the most irritating moment in my life. One of my friend Nadarajan was trying to kidnap me by not telling where they were going. I knew they had something in mind but he didnt tell me where and what. And the worst part was that, whenever I asked him that where are we going, his answer was always LONDON. I really don't know where on earth did he ever got that idea of telling the word LONDON and it really irritated me at first.
After that he brought me to Ipoh town and we were wandering around as if he had no plans. As there were 8 of us, 4 of us came in my car and the other four went with Kumaran. Kumaran and the rest had already reaced the place where they had already planned. And then Nadarajan brought me and the others there too. It was actually to Pizza Hut. Earlier they told me that we will be going to the mamak shop nearby, but to my surprise, they brought me to Pizza Hut.
It was in Pizza Hut that i got my surprise. They bought me a birthday cake and sang birthday song for me, and we ate until all of our stomach merely burst.
And as all of guys know, when friends meet up after a long time, the amount of jokes and comedy that we make has no limitations. I had such a great day that day.
After that my friends were so determined to buy me a small gift and we went to The Store and they bought me a very expansive pen and a superb notebook.
I really thank God for giving me such great friends who were with me in all situations. I'm really going to miss them very much.

Thanksgiving Sunday 2009

This years thanksgiving Sunday was really special to me, as it would be the last for the next 6 years. I will not be in Malaysia to celebrate thanksgiving. Every year, thanksgiving service just gets greater than the previous years. This was what happen last year ( click the below URL to proceed)

This year the auction was splendid. There were many new items yet to be auctioned this year. The new items was a cow, fishes (ikan haruan), vegetables and a white turkey. Usually the items that were auctioned are food stuffs, clothing, pottery, goat and chicken. This year, the auction amount increased by about RM7900 compared to last year bringing it as an offering to church for an amount of RM 21,420. That is really a very big amount for just about an hour. God is really great and he has really blessed his people although the world economy is still unstable conditions.

GOD, THANK YOU FOR BLESSING YOUR PEOPLE SO MUCH!!!!!!!

One of my dream came true.....

I always wanted to meet singers from India, especially those gospel song singers. They are really great. One of the person that I always wanted to see is Pastor. Jacob Koshy. He conducts continous praise and worship for 1 hour and releases it in CD's. So far he has released 6 albums. All the songs were really cool.

I heard that he was coming to Ipoh for a 100 hours praise and worship here in a church. Immediately I made a decision to go for it. I was really luck that I got to meet him. Although I didn't meet him in person as to talk and share, but at least I could worship with him once. It was really cool. I thank God for giving me such a great opportunity that day.....

I never expected this in my life at all! Learning a new language, and is was Russian. As in my previous post, now I have to learn how to read, write and speak Russian language in 90 hours.

WOW!

But I really managed to at least get some of the words right by the first week already. I really have to thank my lecturer, Miss.Victoria, who really pushed to learn the language. My classmates were also very supporting to me and we helped each other very much. Here is the whole gang.....

Same passion, new destination......

I have been posting a few post about my future plans which was to complete my degree in Indonesia and hence fulfill my ambition. But, there was something else that God has already preplanned for me ahead. After completing my entrance exam for University Sumatera Utara (USU), I was eagerly waiting for my results as I know that I had performed well. Then one Friday, I received a call (July 3rd) from Indonesia telling that my seat is not confirmed. My agent have been telling me since December after my SAM results that my seat is confirmed as my results were pleasing and I already got my Non-Objection Certificate (NOC- A letter from Ministry of Higher Education). His justification was that because of the recent Indonesian maid issue, the Indon government was reducing the seats for all Malaysian students, and one of it affected was me.

I really couldnt accept the fact at that moment as I was preparing myself almost in all situations about going to USU. Immediately on that day itself my father begin to search more information on Russian Universities as the next most best option. I was really discouraged at that moment. My father really made fast decision. Immediately the next day, my father contacted some of my fathers friends children who are in Russia and then went to their house and collect some information about studying in Russia. One of my cousin sister, is also studying in Russia. She really convinced us on going to Russia. I was still not in a good mood and was still puzzled.

But then , on the next Monday my father planned to meet the agent who is stationed in Penang. Monday morning at 11.30 am we took the bus to Penang and then met Mr. Ng the program coordinator for Russian Resources (the agent) gave more explanation and we decided to go to Volgograd. This is where my cousin sister is studying too. I was told that there is a compulsory Russian language class that just begin ed that Monday. I was really lucky enough to get into the class and fit in as I missed that first day of class. The university that now I am going to is to Volgograd State Medical University (VSMU). After going to classes and talking to many other, now I realize that God gives us the best and he will never let us down. Now I feel more confident and happy of to where that I am going to go. THANK YOU JESUS!

This was one of the day that I was waiting for quite a long time. As in my previous post I have told you guys that I wrote 4 songs and my first song was not launched. This was the day that my first ever song was launched. It was on the 12 July 2009. Preparations for the song was going quite well but I couldn't teach the song completely because of certain reason that I will post in my later postings. Therefore the Sunday came.
I was terrified as because it was something of a new kind of music composed by me. The tune is as if it is a country song and this time we only used the keyboard and the bass guitar. The beat and accompany was all done by the keyboard. It was not easy to do such a thing as if the singers timing runs out we have to stop the whole music or we have to wait and continue the beat, which many singer are not so confident in. But everything was put in prayer.
And finally Praise God! Everything went on fine as what we have planned. The music came out well, the singers sand the song well, and the words of the song were so meaningful for Rev. Victor Vethamani's sermon. Even he praised about the song twice in the sermon as for the words were so meaningful. I really thank God that he have given me such a talent and that I can write something and sing something for God.
That was also one happy moment as many of my church members came up and praised me too. Praise be all to Jesus alone!

After many months now its here already, my entrance exam. Its on the 26 June 2009 in University Malaya. My agent told me that there is a briefing from 2 to 6pm in the agents office and I have to be there. Now as I'm here, the briefing just took me less than 20 minutes. It was a thing that i didn't expect. I should have come later i guess. I really am alone here in KL and don't know where to go. Tired of studying. Huh... I guess have to just wait and waste my time here....
Luckily I found a Cyber Cafe here..... Filing my time here then of to the university... the CC here is really bad.... smokers and the system is not updated at all... but luckily the internet is quite fast.....

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2009- JESUS MY HOPE

The first day started with many joy and gladness. At 7.30am, children already began to register themselves at the registration counters. The teachers gathered at the prayer room for their morning devotion, which was conducted by the pastor. At 8.00am, the praise and worship session began. Ms. Nancy Laurence, started with a few songs begin the day. Shortly after that, I was called in front to teach the Theme Song. I was really grateful to my God as he has given such a great talent. Me, with my guitar and 11 people whom I taught them the Theme Song beforehand (so that it would be easier for the children to learn the song) came in front to teach the new song for them. Not bad, the children were able to catch the song up very fast. The theme song lyrics are as such:-

After that it was the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was carried out outside the church. There was the balloon cutting ceremony. Aftermath, breakfast was served. Lessons began after breakfast. About 361 children attended VBS the first day (3 years-18 years). Lesson 1 and 2 was conducted on the first day. I had a great time going from class to class and helping the classes that were in need. After the lessons were carried out, it was time for department’s devotion. Rev. David Rasaphandy took charge on the primary children, Pas. Paul Mani the juniors and Rev. Steven Abbarow conducted the devotion for the intermediate and senior children. The session was carried out for about 1 hour and the lunch was given and the program ends for that day.

The second days program begins at 8.00am. This time the praise and worship session was carried out by Bro. Dennis Johnson. It has been quite a long time he had conducted praise and worship for the children in Sunday school. At first he really didn’t want to conduct praise and worship as he has lost touch for many years, but I insisted that he should conduct it. He really conducted well. I’m sure all the children would have enjoyed praising God especially through the song “I Love you Jesus”. He began calling all those who did not do the action to the front and this made everyone to do action for the song.

Then later on it was the photography session. This year all those who participated VBS gets a t-shirt. A big group photo was taken. There should be around 430 people in the photograph. As usual, breakfast was served after the photography session and then lessons begin as usual. Today there will be 2 lessons carried out. I was given a special responsibility on that day which is to go around each and every class and take the class attendance. I calculated and said that on that days total was 380, but the number does not tele with the actual account taken by each department heads which totals up to 382. But I was sure of my answer. I told the VBS coordinator that I am sure of my answer and I will go and take account again for the primary department as that department was the one which had shortage. Finally, my calculations were the right one.

After the 2 lessons was the departments devotion and then lunch was served. Another special thing for this years VBS was that the committee found some sponsors and managed to call up Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) to come to our church and conduct games for the children. The program was carried out at the church car park. Everyone enjoyed the games. After the program, I had to rush for tuition as I am a temporary teacher now; I cannot skip class a student does. I had to rush in the tiredness too….

Although I really felt so tired, but there is a satisfaction and joy in the tiredness too. The next day (final day) is where we had to wrap up many things. The final lesson was carried out. This lesson was about Salvation and the teachers were urged to pray for their children in order to bring them into Salvation during class hours. After that the devotion was carried out in church. This time all the children were called up to the church and the devotion was carried out by Rev. Herbert John (Perak District Superintendent). He is really a great pastor. He managed to capture the attention of all the children who were present there. He is really a cool pastor. The song “One Way” really made those who do not sing to sing, dance and praise God amazingly. Another special item was done on the last day. They ordered a large cake and made all the non Christians who came for the VBS to cut the cake. It was a really great acknowledgment for them. And pastors laid hands on them and prayed for each and every non- Christian who came on that day. It was really special for them as the were honored on that day. At last we sang the theme song and dismissed. It was really a wonderful 3 day experience that I got before leaving to Indonesia.

This year VBS was a great blessing especially to me. Go really had worked greatly among this who served HIM during the VBS. The credit goes to everyone who had worked very hard to impart the knowledge that Jesus is their Hope during the three days VBS lessons.

Almost more than 2 months before the VBS began the committee was members were all called for a meeting. As I could remember he date when the meeting was held was on 2^nd April 2009 in the Church School room at 8.00pm. Since then , the committee had discussed, talked, and decided many things. I was specially put in charge of music. It is the first time in my life for me to become a committee member in any of my church activity.

As I was incharge of the music, I was thinking of whom to put in the schedule to play the instruments and the praise and worship leader. Suddenly I had a thought that why shouldn’t I write the theme song. That very night that I thought about it I wrote the song. I still can remember the day; it was on Maundy Thursday (9.04.2009) I was in Taiping. The song’s tune was taken from a Myanmar song. As in my previous post, I wrote that I went to Myanmar for the VBS there and I learnt their VBS theme song in their language and translated it to Tamil. At that point of time I realized that Wow! God has Blessed me with a new talent! Praise God!

After that, I was appointed to teach the Theme song to the teachers and children during VBS. I taught the teachers during the teachers training held 5 weeks beforehand. The teachers training was held usually on Sundays at 5pm to 6pm at the church school room. Bro. Dennis Johnson was given the responsibility to teach the teachers on the lessons that was prepared by his sister, Ms. Grace Marial. Before each teachers training session, there will be an half an hour praying session by the committee members. The teachers were also invited to join the committee to pray.

These were some of the early preparations on the lessons. The other preparations were all carried out by the committee members such as arrangements for food, transport (Gunung Rapat), tents, chairs, tables, stationery, invitations (other churches and homes) and many others.

So far I have just described you all about the preparations of the VBS. My next post is about the activities and programs of the 3 days.

It had been a busy week for me. In fact it was also very exciting too. For the past 1 month, I ventured into a new armmmm hobby or talent I would say. I am now writing songs. Until today I have written 4 songs and 3 of them will be heard by people. The other song just came and I just wrote it. My very first song was for the Christian Education Committee in my church. At first, they asked me to look for a song on holiness, and I dint know how I got the song, I just began writing the lyrics and it ended up in four verse. The songs was based on how to be holy as this year my church is focusing on Holy Living and the theme for this year is Holy Living Changing Lives. So that one song came to life.
Then the second song is for the Vacation Bible School(VBS) that will be held next week from Monday to Wednesday (8th-10th June). It was the children's theme song. Actually the tune was taken from Myanmar. As in my previous posts, I went to Myanmar for a VBS program there, and they we took the same theme for this years VBS which is Jesus My Hope. The song was based on it and there is a short rap part in the song too....
Later on last month, my Sunday School teachers announced that we will be presenting a song on the 28th June and there will be a song practice. When I went back for Sunday School classes, I thought of a song and wrote it too. It was really amazing how I can write a song so fast. But I know that the Holy Spirit enabled me to write such songs.
And for God's glory, we recorded the song this Monday(1st June). The song came out so great although it was not of a professionals job, but we were all satisfied of it.
I would really like to thank all those who helped me to record the song.

Last day of teaching.....

29th May 2009 was indeed another memorable day for me. That was the last day of teaching for me in SK Jati. As a teacher, I learnt a lot of things that there were many good and a little bad experience. But all went on fine. The last day came up even how to say it, sad or happy(for me-still cant classify it) for me. Some students even cried because I was leaving. I never thought that would ever happen. Some were speechless and were blank and were not sure what was going on. I received many gifts and many beautiful cards that were all from my students. All the gifts were really great.
In fact, the last day I was more like a rock star to my students. They came surrounding around me and asking me for my signature and my hand phone number and even my address. They were like as if thinking that I am an idol for them and they really couldn't stop thinking about me the whole day.
The many memories that I had given them is the word, 'wassup'. This was kind of a normal word for me but it was a special word for them. I just thought my first class students this word. The reason was that whenever they see me or walk pass me, they could knuckle touch on me and then say wassup. They immediately catched up the word and then started using it publicly. Anyway, I hope they all become successful when they grow up.

Teachers Day Celebration....

Every year, teachers day is celebrated on the 16th May. This year as I am a temporary teacher, I experienced a new experience by being celebrated as a teacher on teachers day. The school that I am teaching in, SK Jati, had its general school assembly on Monday at 7.30am. It was raining at that time so the assembly was carried out in the school canteen. As normal we heard a 'few words' by the Education Departments and from our Headmistress. Then they had some presentations and then it was prize giving ceremony. All the teachers were given a small gift by the school. As I am just a temporary teacher, I thought that my name would not be called, but to my own surprise, they called my name at last. The students were all clapping their hands for a long time for me and some of them even whistled and they were cheering like as if I was a movie start. All the teachers seated there were stunted. I was also amazed because I didn't expect I had so much of support among the students. Even my headmistress commended that, I was 'The Teacher of The Year'. Even more presents came in after the celebration. Students from my class and other classes to brought many gifts for me. Wow I had no place to even keep it on my table. It was merely full of gifts all around my table.

Not bad for a temporary teacher. As there is only 8 more days for me to be in this school I really happy but at the same time sad to leave the school because the students really enjoyed being with me when I was with them. Here are some pictures that will surely make me always remember the school.

We won the Debate!

Saturday and Sunday was the most busiest day of the week for me and tow of my friends. We joined our church debate competition. So we had to do preparation. My teammates were Derick Josob (1st speaker), Me (2nd speaker) and Alex Seeni (3rd speaker and rebuttal speech). We kind of did a last minute preparation for the first round which was on Friday and the debate was on Saturday. But by God's grace we managed to get through the first round. The topic given to us on the first day was, 'Is Holy Living a possibility in today's world?' We managed to gather our points from books and through many experience form the pastors sermon and other notes form cell group. Derick( 1st speaker) gave the main definition of the topic and he spoke about the importance of holy living. I spoke about how to live a holy life. Alex Seeni spoke about holy living is crucial to sustain us through temptation. We managed to get our points and stand clear that holy living is possible in today's world. The opposition team was lead by Aaron Dason (1st speaker and rebuttal speech), then Jashen David(2nd speaker) and Jared Joseph(3rd speaker).

The title was infact a title that favoured us because we as Christians can't deny the fact that we cant live a holy life because it is written in the Bible that in the book of Lev-11:45, For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. So we have to accept the fact too.

The opposition team to gave a good fight with us but they could not bring out points or fact that we biblical as the highest marks is allocated for points or facts that are quoted from the Bible. The as we have won the first round, we managed to proceed to the finals. We were about to face a team who were 3 times or age. Derick is 17, I'm 18 and Alex is 19 and our opponents were at their mid or late 50's. However, we made our mind clear that we are not going to just leave without a battle.

They gave us the title and both ours and their team were blurred. The title given was, 'Does culture and tradition influence our Holy Living?' We were again chosen to be the Government team. We had to say that traditions and culture do influence our holy living. It either can be good or bad influence.

Once again Derick was the 1st speaker, me 2nd and Alex 3rd speaker. We gathered together in my fathers tuition center at about 8pm. For about one and a half hour we could not move with or points as we were blurred and we did not know where, or how to begin. We managed to get through the definition and some points that we not so strong. Then I decided to call Rev. Raymond from Sungai Pelek ( he was the pastor in Nilai church as when I was studying in Nilai), to seek for some help. My teammates and I have to really thank him because without his help we surely wouldn't have won at all. As I put my phone is Loudspeaker mode, Alex began writ ting the points on the whiteboard and his points were all flowing out so easily. He suggested to us two books that would really help and that our pastor Rev. Laurence might have it too. Immediately, I called him and asked whether he had the books or not, then he said he had it and Alex and I rushed to his house to get the book from him.

It was already late that night, so we decided to take the books home and gather our points the next day. I was still blurred on how to break put our points although I had the book which helped a lot. The next morning, after I woke up and as I was on my way to church, many points came in to my thoughts just that instant. I suggested that we break our points as positive, negative and then summing up.

We managed to meet each other properly after church to clarify some matters such as the topic. The topic given to us was in English and Tamil because our opponents are going to speak in Tamil. They were terrified to face us as they saw us spoke in English that they couldn't understand much. Anyway we said that we might try to speak a little in Tamil as we go on. We gathered again at about 1 pm in my fathers tuition centre again to finalise our points. Derick will be giving the complete definition and the positive influence that culture and tradition has affected our holy living. I will be speaking on the negative influence that our culture and tradition has taught us and Alex summed up and gave a wonderful speech.

The opposition team had nothing much to speak and they didn't speak with much facts as they were speaking more emotionally. They misunderstood many concepts and analogies that we tried to bring up to them. But at the end of the debate, we were really terrified. Derick, Alex and I thought we lost as the judges seemed to support or speak more about that culture and traditions doesn't influence us at all.

At last the results was announced and we won the debate. It was a really HAPPY and JOYUS moment for us at that point of time. I really would like to take this oppurtunity to thank all those who had helped us to win this debate.
Firstly I would like to thatnk God for showing his wisdom for us and allowing us to speak our boldly. We always had a prayer session before we began our debate session and whenever we met. I am really sure that God was surely with us. Next, I would really like to thank my teammates, Derick Josob and Alex Seeni for really putting a lot of effort. Then, Rev. Raymond, who really oppened our eyes and put us right on track, Rev. Laurence who was kind enough to lend us the book althought it was kind of late at night, to my parents, relatives ( especially Clement and Evelyn for their continous support), and to all that who has helped us through this.

God's Miracle

A really great miracle happened in my church today. As in my previous post, I said to you guys that it was Palm Sunday and it was a special service. So when the procession was over, our normal church service began at sharp 9am where first the church pastor announce the song and the march right to the front of the altar followed by the church choir, and the Sunday School children. Everything seems to be normal until then something happened. The church LCD was not working. The LCD operator was puzzled as this was the first time he had ever faced something like it before. Many other church members tried to solve the problem but it was in vain. Without the LCD, there wouldn't be any songs on the LCD and we cant sing. Then, our church pastor took the mike as it was his worship today and told us that there was some technical glitches in the LCD and he prayed.

I believed that the whole church prayed with full of faith that the LCD wil work once again without any trouble. Halleluyah! Praise GOD! The LCD just worked immediately after he said AMEN!

Palm Sunday

One of the most best or shall I say special services held in My church will be Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday is the festival celebrated by Christian one week before Easter commemorating that Jesus Christ cam to Jerusalem in a donkey and the people there welcomed him with palm leaves and with their clothes. My church celebrates special services much more special than other churches in Malaysia.

What do I mean by special??

Since I was a kid and since my parents were kids before, the tradition of going on a procession throught Buntong (around my church area) for about 1 km during Palm Sunday was a custom. We use to do that every year during Palm Sunday. We gather at church at about 7.30am and leave our church compound at about 7.45am. It is such a significant thing to do where I think none of the churches in Malaysia does it this way. One day earlier ( Saturday night) is where the Sunday School teachers and some church members gather to weave the cross. For your information, we weave cross form palm leaf. Its really something great. Yesterday (Saturday) about 40 people came to weave the cross. We managed to weave 1311 cross. About 200 of the crosses were given to our church outreach ministries.

Today(Sunday) about 416 of our church members took part in the procession. It was really cool. When we walk, we sing songs and the people in the neighbourhood looks at us and we give them the cross that we weaved earlier and the continue walking and singing although the sun is shining straight up our heads.

Usually there will be two people leading the procession carrying a big palm branch(i guess) each, then followed by my church pastors, the church choir, then Sunday School children and the the church members.

I really hope so that this tradition will never end as it is really great and I hope that other churches too have procession like this. There are some photos that I took along the way for those of you who might not just get the picture of what I am blogging about.

One month of teaching.....

It seems it was just like yesterday that I began teaching but now its already so fast one month. I got the letter on the 2nd March and reported in school on the 3rd March. Wow time really flies. My contract of teaching is until 29th May because the teacher will be back after her 14 weeks course. Being a teacher is not so bad after all. Marking books, scolding students, teaching them new stuffs (which sometimes the level is too high) and many more. But the extra responsibilities is the one I hate. Extra responsibilities like coming for unnecessary meetings ( which are boring at the same time a waste of time), curricular activities which will begin next Wednesday and other patty-patty things which makes the job seems bad. But frankly speaking teaching is cool. Anyway hope so that I will not be filled with unessential workload.

One year back from Myanmar....

Last year, my family and I together with a few of my church member went to Myanmar for a mission trip. We were there to facilitate or more or less teach the Myanmar people how to have a Vacation Bible School (VBS). VBS for those who don't know, its actually a camp that is held every year during the holidays where we learn more and more about Christ. So the people in Myanmar are not exposed to this kind of things before. People like us from Malaysia went there to teach them how to conduct lessons and how to teach them. It was really a wonderful mission trip back there in Myanmar. We left on the 19th March and came back on the 31 March 2008. I had to miss so many lectures and i really suffered for the first few months back in INTI. But through God's grace, I managed to complete my South Australian Matriculation (SAM) program in INTI, and now I'm qualified to further my studies as what I wished for since I was a kid. GOD IS GREAT!!!

Free books !

I usually go on the internet and browse for something interesting. Either its news, jokes, videos or just sit and chat. I have heard once my friend telling me that using the internet you can get free stuffs sent to your house. When I heard that long ago I did not bother to even try. A few weeks ago, I just tried doing it and on last Wednesday( 25 March 2009), I got a parcel. I wasnt there to recieve it because I was in school. When I came back I saw that I recieved 4 books in a beautiful covered folder kind of thing. I was really happy and amazed to see it. I dont know whether or not I will read the book or not, but if Im too lazy to read it, I might just donate it to my church library. there are some pictures of the book that i recieved.

Kids and Teens Prayer Camp

On the 16 to 17th of March 2009, there was a camp held in YMCA, Ipoh. There were 51 participants and it was truly a blessing to the children and teenagers who participated. Surely God has blessed that children life. We mainly had 4 sessions. Our guest speakers were Rev.Herbert John, Bro.Anthony@Tony, Dr.Thaveethu Moses and Bro. Louis Martin. The last day was something different. We went up to Kledang Hill and prayed. The session was on mountain prayer by Bro. Louis Martin. During the mountain climbing, one guy got missing. We were all terrified, and we had a search squad to go look for him. I went uphill to look for him and another brother went downhill to look for him. Both of us could not find him. We got even more terrified. I could not climb uphill more further as I assumed that he would not have gone so far up. Then one of the brother who went looking for him down, came up with his motorbike and went further uphill.

When he came down, he was with the missing boy. We were all then calmed after seeing that boy. It was then time to go downhill and it was nice as we all got a new experience. These are some photos taken during the camp.

The most memorable anniversary......

17 March will be one of my most memorable day in my life. That is the date which changed my life. There were mainly two things happen in that day that make me say that its one of the most memorable day in my life.

First comes first. I passed my driving license on this very date last year(2008). Thats great right!
As I was really happy that now I can also drive, I went back home hoping that I could start driving the car and rule the roads (hehe), but then another shocking news awaits me at home. I really didnt expect that so soon.

As I went home to rejoice that I got my driving license, my mother broke me a news that was really too fast for me to digest. My mother told me that I will be continuing my studies doing South Australian Matriculation (SAM) in INTI International University College, Nilai. I got the shock of my life. We were not planing about this anytime and everything was too soon for me. I was getting myself ready for National Service as I was choosen for the second batch. Actually I was having kind of a long hair so that when I go for National Service, they will cut my hair for free la(hehe). But then I had to cut my hair earlier as I will become a college student in a few hours time.

Without wasting my time, I went to the barber shop. Get a good haircut, came back and then went back home. My father came back hoem from school, then confirmed that I am going to INTI. I packed my bags without knowing what to pack. Even my own brother does not know that I will be leaving to INTI. My father called Rev. Silvester David earlier to pray for me as I was going to study in INTI. I really broke out in tears as he prayed because I really do not know anything on what I am about to face. Leaving my family was the other worst thing. None of my other family members know about it too.

Then my family and I took lunch and left Ipoh to Nilai at about 1pm. We reached Nilai at about 4pm. Along that journey, it was not easy at all. Most of the times, I would be pondeirng about my life in college. As I reached in INTI, got me enroled, then got a room in the hostel and then, its already by my own now. My parents left me and went back home. Now it was me alone in INTI.

But as the 8 months psased by, I learnt many things. Many new friends, many new experience, many turf situations, many difficulties in studies and many more new challanges in life. Through Gods grace, I manged to face it finish it.

Now i miss INTI soo much. My friends, my lectures, my tension on studies, the turf college lifestyle and many more. I really thank God for leading me into this as he has shaped me too, THank YOu GOD!

One year.....

It has been already one year when I got my SPM results. Wow time really flies very fast. There is a slight resemblance between ,my PMR results and my SPM results. My PMR results came out on the 21 December and my SPM results came out on the 12 March. Its just the matter of twisting of the numbers, you see...... hehe.....

This year I'm already working, next year I really don't know what is going to happen. But what I know is that God holds my future and I know that my God will surely give me the best of all. I don't know what my future holds but I know who holds my future.

Im currently in my school while posting this blog post and watching Underdog at the same time too.

You guys might be wondering why is he not working during working hours but watching movie. Actually today my school is celebrating a Muslim religious celebration, so the non-Muslim are being taken care by the non-Muslim teacher. So till then bye....

One week of teaching....

It seemed like I just started teaching in SK Jati, but so fast it has already been one week. One week of teaching seems not so bad. I though it will be frustrating to teach but maybe i guessed wrongly. Im currently teaching four classes English. These 4 classes are way different from each other. I would say that the second class performs better than the first class. the last clas is one hopeless class. I really dont know what is thier problem. Whenever I go into their class, it seems that I am a foreigner to them and as if that I am speaking in an alien language to them. Simple terms in English like age, also they dont know what it is. Just having some turf time with them, but other than that all ok lah. Just that there are some activities in the school that are going on and as the class theacher of 4 M, I have been given certain responsibilities to complete. Anyway, I feel satisfied with the school.

Every year, when it comes to the month of March, many surprises and things that are unexpected happen and they happen very fast. Last year, my SPM results came out in March. That was not something surprising because we all know that if we write an exam the results wil be out sooner or later. But its the step taken after that. I had a plan for after SPM that I thought will be the one for me. My father had earlier planned to send me to Russia to further my studies, but on the 16 March 2008, a very big turinig point happened in my life that was never expected by me. On the 17th March 2008 I went to do my South Australian Matriculation (SAM) in INTI International University College, Nilai. That decision was only made on that day and at about 1pm we left Ipoh for Nilai.

Now, nearly one year after that, Im waiting for my intake which is in August to futher my studies in Indonesia. Meantime, I applied for a temporary teaching job. I applied for the job in December and since then i waited and lost hope on it. Today about 12.45pm, I recieved a call from the Department of Education saying that I received a job in a primary school. I was really blank and until now Im still blank. I guess that doing nothing all this while had mae me lazy. So I fell that now is the time for me to go ahead and face other challenges that awaits for me. I was appointed as a temporary teacher to teach Science and English in SK Jati in Jelapang. I hope that I can perform well in the school....

Everyone out there who reads this post please be reminded that renowned Tamil Christian Praise and Worship singer Alwin Thomas is coming to Ipoh next Friday on the 13 February 2008. He will be having his revival worship in Tamil Methodist Church, Ipoh. He is really a wonderful singer. He releases all his songs in an album called Nandri (Thanks). So far there is already 3 albums in the market and all of us are awaiting for his 4th album to be released. The songs in Nandri 2 was the best among all the others. The songs in Volume 2 was superb and all of them were catchy. For those of you all who does not know how to spend their Friday night, you can come for this wonderful revival meeting at 7.30pm on the date and venue stated above.

Waiting for everything......

For after sometime, I feel like blogging a little. So many things have happen in the past few months. Many unexpected things too. Ok I will begin chronologically.

First, I got a new hand phone. A brand new Nokia N96. My father bought it for me in December, to be accurate it was on the 20th December. Wow, what a phone. Its really great to have a phone which has all what you want it to do.

Next, it was Christmas. Friends, family and relatives reunion. Lunch, dinner, and many more fun stuffs. On the 26th December, my friends and I went out. Whenever we get together, we usually go for bowling and then we play Counter Strike (LAN game). Its really fun when you get to shot your friends virtually. This time we went playing football after all the fun indoors. None of us had stamina as we had not played football since 2007 which is when we finished school. It was really great.

Then, it was New Year. All again, New Year, new things, experience, new expectations and many more.....

I applied for temporary teaching to keep me occupied because the intake for my university is only on August. So Im still waiting until today but still no sign of anything from The Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD). What to do..... waitlah then.......
But while Im waiting for my temporary jo, I really learn a lot of new things.
I now have a new hobby, which is cooking and sewing. My mother and I cooked pizza, we many indian cooking and cookies and its really cool. Now ims also helping my mother sew for her too. Im also helping my mother to pick my brother up after school too. (Note: Not real picture, hehe....)

Then the unexpected one is that the Perak Government has fallen down. This was never expected by anyone in the state nor the country. Whatever it is, the government should have a re-election on this current issue. Thats what is right and its fair enough to everyone in the country. Lets see what happens at the end. Now Karpal Singh has put a case on the Perak Sultan and we dont know what is going to happen next. So what im going to do is just sit back and wait for the best to happen.

Wow 2008 really was very fast. It seemed like it was just yesterday that it begin ed. But 2008 was not easy for me. I had to undergo many troubles and many conflicts. Thank God I managed to face hem all by God's grace. During the time of my college life in Inti, it was one of the most turf es time of my lifetime. I had never undergone so much of pressure, new lifestyle, environment and many more other new stuffs. But everything at last paid off. I'm now happy venturing into 2009 and I believe that God has many new plans up for me and my family. Thank you God.

Christmas is the best time ever for me in the the year. I love Christmas as it is a celebration commemorating the birth of Christ the Savior to the world. Every year there is something new and cool for Christmas. Every year i join the Christmas Caroling which is held annually in my church. A group of about 30 people go around houses of our church members signing and proclaiming the Birth of Messiah. This year I'm in group 3 and I'm the lead guitarist I'm the group. I really thank God for giving me such a talent. I also play the bongo. There is a Santa Clause in my group who dances in every house too. Anyway, its really really a wonderful thing to sing and proclaim the birth of Christ to others. Well Christmas shopping was already done earlier of the month and what is left is that the Christmas Celebration itself.

My Church service begins at 5am. This actually commemorates whats is written in the Bible that Jesus was born in a manger cold and dark which would most likely be at that time. Then the service will end at about 7am. After that we will all be wishing each other Merry Christmas joyfully and greeting each other happily. Its really great to wish everyone in my church Merry Christmas because there are about 600 to 700 members who will be present on a Christmas service. So I couldn't wait for it.

Then we will have a lunch fellowship where we invite all my friends and families for lunch. There we share all the happy stories that we all have among ourselves and have fun together, making fun about each other and laughing. Well its getting nearer...and im tired too.... got to get some good rest...

Although for some college and school students who are unable to celebrate deepavali because of their school or college exams are approaching.... its ok be cool with it.... everyone has to go through this kind of challenge in life. So what to do life is like that lah... As my exams are also approaching I also have to go through the same hardness and challenge as you guys. My SAM public exam is coming very soon. In approximately a week time (next Monday) at 11.30 am I will be seating for my public examination in Inti International University College. Wow time really flies. Im going to the nuffnang ‘I’m Going Silent this Halloween with Nokia XpressMusic‘. Wow thats really cool man. Whats great about having Nokia Xpress Music is that the sound system in the speasker of the nokia phone is soo cool and when certain songs that sre really nice even I feel like dancing. Although Im still using an old Nokia 2600, but I have heard my frineds Nokia 5200 Xpress music. The songs that i played was as if the singer was singing in front of me .

Well I a ctually had never celebrated Halloween in my life before and I thought that if nuffnang might give me a chance to get this invitation to experience haloween and win a phone. hahaha.

Yeh! Yeh! I am going back to Ipoh tomorrow. All out of a sudden I got call from my father. He said to me that they are coming down to KL. I was puzzled and asked why suddenly? Then they said that they are coming to pick me up back in KL. Wow that was a surprise all out of a sudden. tomorrow morning at about 1.30pm I have to be in KL so that my parents will pick me up. I have to take a train from Nilai and to KL station. Finally I get to eat some homecook food by my mother after for more than 4 weeks. My last trip to Ipoh was on the 7 September. But I dont know whether or not I will be able to study in Ipoh. Anyway Im going back.

It has already one month since I started blogging. Its some thing great for me. I had never thought that I will also become a blogger, and now I am one month old blogging..... Through nuffnag I get to know many friends too..... Blogging has now became my hoddy and my passtime. Whenever I feel bored or have nothin gro do I will find something to blog.... So it keeps mu mind to work......

Not forgetting that I have also gained many friends all around the world. I got a few friends from India, Philliphines, Indonesia, and from the Untited States. Its really fun to blog. Now Im in college. Cannot go back home for another 2 weeks. Altogether I did not go back for the past 5 weeks. I am really sad because of that. I could'nt not eat my mother food for these weeks. I miss Ipoh, I miss my church, I miss my family, I miss my father, my mother, my brother, my friends, my car, my school, my television, my favorite food and basically everything in Ipoh...........

This is the first time in my life that Im out of house for such a looooong time.

Its ok my course will be ending in a few more months. To be accurate my course will be ending in the November the 12th. So im happy of that...... but sad for now lah :(.............

I have not been posting my own posts on my blog for about a week. This is because there was a lot of lab reports for me to complete. Finally completed all the lab report for Physics this semester. Wow what a relief. Yesterday night, I was so tired of completing my lab reports. Hah now it all over. After this no more physics lab reports in my LIFE!!!! hahahahaha

Yesterday was the most memorable day in my life. I get to watch the premier of Mamma Mia in One Utama at 9 pm yesterday night. It was my first my first post to nuffnag for a competition like this. I really like to thank my roomate Justin because he urged me to post about Mamma Mia and I got through it.

I was really surprised to read my email when it said that I was choosen for the premier. This is also my first ever premier. I really enjoyed the humourous movie. The fun musical movie really captured my heart.

All the songs in the movie was really so approriate and this made the movie really fun to watch....So all those out there who has not watched this movie, go and watch it.... The movie is superb.....

Read only if you have time for God Let me tell you, make sure you read all the way to the bottom.
We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning... Maybe, Sunday night... And, the unlikely event of a midweek service.
We do like to have Him around during sickness... And, of course, at funerals. However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play...

Because.. That's the part of our lives we think...
We can, and should, handle on our own. May God forgive me forever thinking... That... There is a time or place where.. HE is not to be FIRST in my life.

We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.

17 turning to 18.....

16 September 2008 is one of the most memorable day of my life.....

Why? Why? Why?

Because I'm 17 turning to 18 ......

I had never had such a birthday celebration in my life before. This is in fact the first time in y life that i am celebrating my birthday out of my house without my family members with me.. :(

But I didn't feel sad or lonely because of that...... My friends here in INTI really made my 18th year birthday celebration a great surprise...... I didn't expect such a celebration which was especially planned for me.... They said that they were planning for this birthday party for the pass 2 weeks.... and I didnt even knew any of this.....

The first thing happened was that I was brought to McDonald. I really didn't have any idea what to order because i was blurred the whole while. So they ordered me Spicy Chicken McDeluxe.... Wow that was really nice...... I ver seldom go for McDonald's for fast food because I prefer KFC rather than McDonalds. But it was really a wonderful dinner i had with them....

So I thought that after that we will be heading to our college but that was not what happened.....
My friends brought me to Secret Recipe in Nilai......

I remembered that last week I told Hazwan that I have never ate in secret recipe before. So he brought me to Secret Recipe.......

They asked me to sit and they ordered me a cake and th whole of Secret Recipe staff sang birthday song for me...... That was really touching for me..... I really didn't expect that at all from them

I would like to thank my friends who really made my 18th birthday a real memorable one. I will surely never forget this birthday party for my whole lifetime.......

The friends that I mentioned just now is Justin, Hazwan, and never forgetting Navin. I feel really lucky to have such friends like them..... May God Bless them all......

‘Mamma Mia! The Movie’

I'm a new blogger just started last month. And my roommate encouraged me to join nuffnang and I have met a lot of friends through nuffnang.

Now I have an opportunity to write on the movie 'Mamma Mia' which will be screened on the 22nd September 2008. This is my first time writing a blog to nuffnang on a movie review. What I know about his movie?

Actually nothing much.... A I know its a musical movie..... and the best part is ABBA the Swedish pop band which was formed in the 1972 song will be played. The name "ABBA" is an abbreviation formed from the first letters of each of the group member's given name (Agnetha, Björn, Benny, Anni-Frid). Four of them started the band with their wonderful evergreen song which made the whole world to recognize them.

The hero of this movie is "James Bond", and we all know how talented is he. So I will be expecting great things about this movie.......

Every Sunday is a special day for me. Last Sunday I was back in Ipoh and this week I'm back in Nilai. Nilai Sunday worship service is at 5.30pm in the evening as they have their morning worship service in Sungai Pelek.

This Sunday was a special Sunday as people from Ipoh (where I come from) came to lead the worship service here. It was some sort of altar exchange for this week. I get to meet all my old friends, pastor and relatives. I was really happy. The worship service led by Kaninmoli aunty was wonderful.

The Word of God was brought to us by Rev. M Joseph who once upon a time was the pastor in Nilai (6 years to be accurate). Everyone from Ipoh were really glad to see me here as some of them didn't expect to see me here playing the keyboard in church.

After the coffee fellowship they left for Ipoh at about 8.15 pm. It was a real blessing for me to see them here in Nilai.

Praise be all to God!

Backstabbing lecturer....(part 2)....

Today( Friday 9.00pm), which is our Moral class, our lecturer came in and statered condemning all of us who cam to see him yesterday. We were all shocked to hear all the words he spoke in class. What he told us was......
You think you SAM students all special lah, 10 years I have been teaching SAM students Moral but no a year they complained about their assignments due date but this year you cannot finish is it? What is your work only to study right? Do you work like me? Do you work in fields or something else.... Why no one in any year ask this question? So this year I have decided to deduct the marks of students who didn't pass up the assignment.....

We were all surprised to hear what he said.... We didn't expect this from him. We were not rude to him on asking him to postpone the date of assignment and he didn't even said that we will be punished. He was also so polite to us. If he would have said that NO you must pass up tomorrow we would have found a way to do so, but what is this.....

A moral lecturer didn't even kept his words as a promise and began to say more bad things about the students who came and confronted him due to the assignment thinging.

WE were certainly disappointed and annoyed of his backstabbing character.....

Our Moral lecturer is one of the biggest backstabber ever. Why I say this is because....

Yesterday, my friends and I as a group went to him to ask him whether we can postpone or Moral assignment or not. He gave us a sweet smile and said that no problem as long as you write a reason there why you passed up late it will be accepted. Don't worry abou the assignment, it can be handed next week too.

So we were relieved of what he said and thought in our hearts that wow, he is such a good lecturer, and understands a students feelings.....

Then we asked whether our marks will be deducted due to the late submssion or not. And the answer he replied was really touching:

A moral person cannot be judged by his marks only

and

A person who is moral is judged by the society

So once again we were all relieved....

Then we announced this happy news to the class and they were all happy. We didn't actually want to escape from doing our assignments, but because we ha 1 quiz, 1 exam and some of the students have Chemistry presentation to do that's why we asked for a postponement. And we were only exposed to the format this Wednesday only. The assignment was not an easy one too. We had to do referencing and compile it like a project work, and we didn't have enough time to do so. The assignment consists of 20 objective, 5 subjective and 4 essay questions which was really turf to do....

So today..................

In two days time, my brother will be turning to 16. And I would like to wish him a verrry happpyyyy birthday to him. I love you soooo much......

The best part of it is that my birthday is in 5 days time which is on 16 September and my birthday is on 13 September, and we have 2 years of age gap.... That's a great thing for me and my brother as we can celebrate our birthday together.

But too bad I will not be Ipoh to celebrate our birthday together. Anyway I will still remember him during his birthday.. May God Bless you Jonathan......

As the week goes on time really flies. Everyday seems to be just 12 hours and I have to complete a lot of stuffs mainly doing my revision......

But what I am glad is that most of the assignments are getting to an end. My English and Physics assignment is over. My Chemistry assignment, I already completing my final draft and as for Biology, my assignment can be over in just one day as the lecturer asked me to do a new topic as it would be a good revision for me. Earlier I did a research on drug addiction, but my lecturer advised me to do on Genetically Modified Food which is part of my syllabus.

So that all about my assignments. Now what I must do is STUDY! STUDY and STUDY!

Muscular men.....

You might see muscular men as strong and describe them as macho especially the girls. But what if the muscles that are build becomes to big. This are also some of the bad effects of drugs in sports. The drug that is mainly used is steroid which boosts the metabolism of a athlete.

Look at the picture on how some people look when they are over muscular and a usual persons muscles....Does the man above looks normal? Isn't he over muscular. How is he going to wear his pants or shirt??

The guy above is a typical example of over consumptions of steroid. What the hell???
OMG........

He has an optimum muscle size and looks fit to him...He too has an optimum amount of muscles on his body...

So you get to see how some people are mad about their muscles.....

A new record was set between 6.45pm to about 7.20pm. All of you might be puzzled what type of record was set at that point of time.

The record is that I spoke with my mother in the hand phone for 38 minutes and 22 seconds. It was a big new record set for me as my previous record was 32 minutes and 17 seconds which was last Monday and this Monday a new record was achieved successfully by me....

Hope that I will soon beat my current record...... Ha ha ha.......
